WHO?

Who is a woman and  who is a mother?

I sent out some questionnaire to find out from some women what they think about the above question. This is quite important because if we know who we are and what we are made of , it will really help us to be effective in our  various roles.

Who is a woman?

Here are some of the responses I received,

"A woman is one who wins the love of a man. A mother is one who wins the love of a man and cares for other men i.e human beings, a mother cares".

"A woman is an adult female who has reached the stage of marriage. A mother is a woman who has children either biologically or adopted and shows high level of care for them".

"A woman is physically mature female adult. A mother is a woman with maternal instincts. A mother is also simply a female parent".

"A woman is an adult female human being while a mother is a female parent or the head of a female religious community".

why me?

You have to be involved because you have what it takes. You have all the necessary abilities that are required for this assignment.

God has made women special and euipped them with the tools needed to be change-agents in their homes as well as their communities. God is a creator.
God has given us the opportunity to be co-creators with Him and this attribute sets women apart.

who is?

Please, share this e-mail with me.

"Mentorship is the impartation of information. Mentorship is accepting perfect knowledge from an imperfect man. Your mentor is anyone who consistently teaches you what you want to know. It was the secret of Elijah and Elisha , Moses and Joshua, Paul and Timothy. Pursue and extract the knowledge of the mentors that God has made available to your life. Mentorship is learning through the pain of another. Your future is determined by who you've chosen to believe."
Dr Mike Murdock

A wise man will hear and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels [ proverbs 1:5].

ZOE - LIFE OF GOD!

This is the PRICE OF THE FUTURE and we must do all that is within us to make sure all children have the best of life.

'Every child is my child'. Invest in children . Mentor a child!

Put a smile on a child's face. This makes you XTRAORDINARY.

WOMEN ARE LIFE GIVERS!

A SECOND!

OOPS wait a minute! You can't give what you don't have. I think the best way is to first of all, equip ourselves with the necessary tools and skills that are required. This is very important in order for us to be effective.

By first of all investing in ourselves is not being selfish but rather enables us to achieve our goals. This is a fight, therefore we must be properly kitted. Where do we go from HERE.

WE GO TO THE SOURCE. We go the HIM who set all these up in the first place. We go to GOD to search for the answers.
Read the Bible. Read the book. READ THE BIBLE.

Mentor a child because you are a mentor. Invest in children.

WOMEN ARE INVESTORS!

MENTORS 3

The time has come for us to rise up and come to the aid of these young ones. The time is now for solution providers, change agents and mentors to live for the reason of their existence and be a guide to this vulnerable group.

Stories are abound of individuals that were once written off which made a successful comeback. These stories are attributed to an individual that took a DECISION to be a source of encouragement and be a guide to another person.
You too can be a source of hope, a guide and a teacher to another [for the good of that person].

Your presence and effort can make a whole world of difference to another. Look around you, opportunities are abound. By joining in, you will be a world changer!

Mentor a child.

WOMEN ARE TEACHERS.

MENTORS 2

I believe passionately that every person is special and unique. Each has been endowed with certain attributes and gifts to positively impact humanity. It is surprising that even the so-called criminals, prostitutes, derelicts equally belong to this category.

Often at times, with little or insufficient information we are biased or worse off, indifferent concerning the plight of these young ones. Most have been exposed to unfair experience when compared to their contemporaries.
The onus lies on well meaning individuals especially women and mothers to rise up to the challenge and come to the aid of these young ones to help them discover, harness and utilise their potentials.

Mentor a child. This will make you extraordinary.

WOMEN ARE MENTORS.

MENTORS

"The game of life is the game of boomerangs. Our thoughts , deeds and words return to us sooner or later, with astounding accuracy. Watch your words! Watch your actions! Harvest season is sure!"[Florence Shinn]

I strongly believe that the family is the bedrock of any nation. We all are from some family. A good and a sound family with true values and morals will equally produce a great nation. We cannot build from the top but we must go back to the roots to get things right.
  • Let's take time to invest in the lives of children.
  • Let's take the time to really listen to them and know how to be of help to them.
  • Let's focus on more important issues of life instead of the mundane.
  • Let's fight for the soul and the lives of our children.
  • By doing this you are also impacting the world. Your contribution counts.

My DREAM

I have a DREAM , that our children will not be in the prison anymore. I dream that all women will rise in their various communities and fight for the soul of our children.Keep them away from drugs, away from prostitution, away from all forms of criminality and CAUSE the prison doors to be completely AND permanently shut.

I dream of PEACE for the future generation where our children will be FREE to be what GOD made them for and our daughters FREE from abuse and molestation.
This is our responsibility as WOMEN AND MOTHERS.

WOMEN ARE CHANGE-AGENTS.

A CRY FOR HELP 2

I've visited the prison once { in search of someone that was arrested} and that experience has never left me. I saw human beings packed in a room like animals. I saw wasted or destroyed potentials and I thought {still thinking}, what really happened ? Whose fault and why should human beings find their way to the prison?

Why should our children ever be in the prison? I say our children [whether man, woman, boy, girl - age is not the issue here] because some woman gave birth to them. There was jubilation[?] the day these were born. So, what happened to these people that they have found themselves there today?
I will really appreciate some answers here because it will go along way in helping younger mothers to get it right. Secondly, how can we solve this problem?

WOMEN ARE SOLUTION PROVIDERS.

A CRY FOR HELP

Moral decadence, depression despair and hopelessness especially among women and the youth are issues that ought to be addressed with a sense of urgency. This is due to the fact that it's effect - corruption, criminality, prostitution, suicide, restiveness , brazen lack of morals and values are abound and can be felt by all and sundry. Unfortunately, these youths are the future generation.

Where are our mothers?. Where are our mothers?. We as mothers must rise up and build the lives of these young ones. We gave birth to these children and we must take full responsibility and rise up to the occassion to make a meaninful impact in the lives of these young ones.

Still looking for a dream and still don't know what to do? Your family, your children are the greatest legacy you will leave for the world.
Our CHILDREN, what will they be like when they are grown up. Think about this.Invest in your children, this will make the world a better place.

WOMEN ARE BUILDERS.

STRENGTH

"BE STRONG IN THE GRACE THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS 2 Tim 1:1

We need strength to dream, pursue and achieve. Drained, weak, hopeless tired and burnt out! These are the daily confessions of many. Fortunately, strength comes from the grace that has been made available from Christ. Tell me how in the world can one jostle so many things at the same time and still get it right. Grace!
MATCHLESS GRACE that keeps you going when you are tired.
The grace to smile even when there is a silent cry within. The grace to keep loving that difficult spouse/child etc. The grace that encourages us to endure certain hardship which ordinarily would have been impossible { for the good of others}.
The strength/ grace that enables us to continue even when we've reached our wits end. This grace is available for us today. Rise up and flow in this limitlesss and endless grace and say "I am strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus". This will put you over no matter the challenges.

WOMEN HAVE GRACE!

the way out

So encouraging to know that there is always a way out of every dilemma. Day in and out we are spent on things around us - job, children, church etc and eventually seem drained. As women we must learn to clean out the clutter out of our lives and be really who God created us to be.
we must learn to set our priorities right in our daily lives in order to be more effective in all spheres of life.

Take charge of your life and quickly decide on what you want out of life. What do you really want. Make a DECISION TODAY.
Unfortunately many don't know. Think about it. The day you decide what you want, life takes a new meaning. What's your dream. This is very important because the world is waiting for you and the earlier you release your gifts makes a whole world of diffedrence.

WOMEN HAVE DREAMS.

you've got it

Happy new year! a year full of opportunities and blessings. I really wonder what we will make out of the 365 days that lie ahead of us.
We must begin by setting new goals again.Maybe we didn't achieve all that we set out for last year but we must not let the failures of the past keep us down. Yesterday is gone and gone forever, but we have another opportunity to achieve and really live!

We must not give up.
You've got what it takes but you alone will choose and decide what you want out of life and you must do it TODAY. No one will choose for you.

Remember you've got what it takes.

WOMEN ARE STRONG.
